I set out to rejuvinate my art interests in 2009, when physical set backs limited much of my other activity. My passion for art has carried through in the past as an illustrator and photographer. Due to physical limitations I found a happy medium in pastels, a medium I could work spontaneously yet allow me to walk away from a project with no repercussions. Award Winning Art on FAA

Here is a collection of art work that was recognized for its merit right here on Fine Art America. I do not place a lot of significance in art contests as I feel art in any form is subjective to the viewers likes or dislikes. It would be like judging music, one song may move a person in one way and the next song may move someone in a different way. Both are good, both are different. Contests are a means of exposing art to the world. That in itself is reward enough.
